About Ink & Ideas

Facilitated by teacher, writer, and Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) certified affiliate, Arlene Rodríguez, Ink & Ideas offers workshops that will create the space, time and support for you to write.

As an AWA affiliate, Arlene follows Pat Schneider's workshop methods, grounded in the belief that if you write, you are a writer. This approach values each writer's voice, providing feedback based on the positive, skilled aspects of their work, promoting growth while ensuring a safe and respectful environment. To learn more about AWA method, go to the About webpage.

Workshops can be 4-10 weeks in duration, with each session lasting two hours. A list of upcoming workshops is available on the Workshops page.

Did you know that 80% of adults want to write a book? (from The Synergy Whisperer). Out of every 1,000 persons who starts, only 30 will complete it. Most commonly cited obstacles are time, space, and support.**
